It's in good working condition other than light rust and paint missing. There is not a makers mark on the scale itself. It's assumed to also come from the Crane Foundry.
The bowl is about 8 3/4 across, and is in good condition other than light rust. The iron weights are an 8 piece set totaling 7 lbs 15 1/2 oz. They are made in Wolverhampton by the Crane Foundry. Weights are 4 lb, 2 lb, 1 lb, 1/2 lb, 4 oz, 2 oz, 1 oz, 1/2 oz. All are in good condition with no cracks. There is light surface rust on some. See photos for condition of all. When set up fully, the scale is about 13" long, and 10" tall to the top of the weight stack. We can place the age to be from no later than 1890.
This is because of a regulation that year requiring all weights under 2 oz to be made of brass. I used a magnet to test. In 1872, the weights were decorated with a series of'roundrels' along the edge that these are lacking. It can therefore be assumed this is from some time between 1873 to 1890.
